To Kill Hitler
Constantine Fitzgibbon
The attempt to assassinate Hitler in July 1944 and to create a new anti-nazi Germany has been regarded as the action of a few officers ambitious to preserve the German Army for another war. The facts of the cospiracies to rid Germany of Hitler are quite astonishing. Some of them became public after the war but this book was the first to give them to the world at large.
“Well written and well documented. Goes far more deeply into the matter than any other” VS Pritchett, The Bookman.
